Oh loyal reader, we have not forgotten you, we've just been slightly delayed with the craziness that comes with buying/selling houses. Let's be honest, always keeping the house "presentable" when there is a toddler in tow is a nearly impossible task. Not to mention, Spring has sprung in Memphis, so we are trying to enjoy every bit of it with neighborhood walks with Stanley (Jane insists on walking, so these can take awhile!), frequent trips to the playground, and making the most of our zoo membership. And, if all of this isn't enough to keep us busy, Jane decided to turn 17 months (with the independence of a 17 year-old!).
Jane is crazy about our shoes. Every morning, Jane gets into my closet and brings me at least one or two pairs of shoes to wear. Then, it's off to dress her Daddy, finding and delivering his shoes as well. Then, she goes to the door, reaches for the knob and looks at us like, "okay - time to go to now".
Jane is proudly sporting her "Got Breastmilk" shirt, a gift from our pediatrician for our successful nursing relationship. 
One day when we picked Jane up from daycare, she and all of her friends had been transformed into cats. "Meow". More posts to come from this month - be sure to check back soon...

Finally, a Maurer update! Haha! Jane is such a big girl now - glad to know someone is helping you in the mornings now :)
