Happy Holidays!

Five days filled with Superman, Lightening McQueen, Dora, Soldier Boy, games of Blink, Uno Attack, and let's not forget Spoons, bowling, football, and lots of food. Sounds like a good Christmas vacation at the Yosts!

Scott and I traveled to Springfield, OH on Friday, where my sister and her family live. The rest of the Odom family joined us later that evening. We packed in lots of presents (Scott that Little Pony is for Jaeden, not you!), food, and fun with the kids! Unfortunately, Amy and Frank had to leave on Sunday evening, but Mom and Dad and Scott and I were able to stay through Tuesday, sharing Christmas with the Yosts.

Scott and I also enjoyed a visit with Dr. Pederson and her two daughters,

Lily and Kate.

And, we made a trip over to the Wittenberg campus to check out the changes and revisit some of our college memories. Tiger up!

Elf Yourself!

OK, so occassionally we get some funny e-mails from Marilyn. Usually they are pretty good, but THIS is hilarious. If you want to see the one my mom sent, click here. Jonnett made this one of Amy & Frank with us. BUT then, Jonnett really took the cake with this. Kudos to OfficeMax, this is better than Monkey-Mail.

Jonnett Completes Her 2nd Marathon!

Well, it seems that Jonnett just can't get enough of helping all of the kids at St. Jude. She works towards raising money all week, and then on the weekend she goes and runs 26.2 miles in the St. Jude Memphis Marathon. She was joined by about 2,000 other brave souls who ran to benefit St. Jude.

Race day started out cold, but the sun came out and it actually got up into the 60's. Jonnett started out with the goal of beating her Seattle marathon time of 4 hours 11 minutes. She started out at a sub-four hour pace and maintained that through mile 20 or so. The race zig-zagged across town, passing the Target House (were most of the out-of-town patients live). It was cool to see some of the kids out supporting the runners. The race ended at Autozone Park (where the Memphis Redbirds play), and Jonnett crossed the finish line at 4 hours 9 minutes, a new personal record!

Scott was a bit under the weather, but managed to meet Jonnett at miles 7, 10, 17, and the finish. He was grateful to be joined by our dear friends Chris and Jill, who ran the 5K event. Jonnett also got some support from her co-worker Jeri, who also ran the 5K. Jonnett also had a co-worker, Peter, who ran the marathon as well, what a team! All in all it was a great event, and we are hopeful that it raised some good money for "our" kids at the Jude. (To see more pics go here).
