The Last First Birthday Party

On Sunday, we had a small gathering with some of our friends here in Memphis to help us celebrate Jane's birthday...again! For the occasion, I decided to attempt to create a special birthday cake for Jane...as a dog of course! (Look closely and you can see a spot on the tongue, to replicate Stanley's freckle on his tongue!).

The weather was beautiful, so we decided to have the celebration outside. Here she is with sleeves rolled up and ready to dig in.

We had a great day with friends, and so did Jane. She was in bed by 5:30 pm...for the night!

Jane got the hang of the birthday cake moves! Jonnett, we are so impressed by your dog cake!! So happy Jane had so many fun birthday celebrations.
