Livin' it up in Rome

February has been quite the month for Jane so far. Yesterday she went for her three-month check-up, where she weighed in at 13 lbs., 6 oz. and measured 24 inches. Though her weight gain has slowed slightly, she is in the 75% for everything and is proving to still be quite the little eater (proof is in the pudding, or in this case, the cheeks).

On Wednesday, we returned from Jane's second big trip - a week with Great-Grandma. Though upstate NY is not the most ideal location for a February vacation, Nanny, Scott's grandma, lives in Rome, NY and was thrilled to spend a week with her great-granddaughter. Scott and I were thrilled to spend the week relaxing, catching up on lots of sleep, reading books, spending time with Scott's relatives, cooking with Nanny, and eating lots of good food (Nanny made sure we didn't miss a meal or two or three...). Below are a few highlights from the trip (here is a link to all the pictures).

Jane meets her great-grandma for the first time.

There was lots of time for playing, which meant lots of giggles and smiles.

We baked cookies, made homemade noodles, and Nanny made sure that we sent it all back to Memphis for us to enjoy when we returned!

Jane enjoyed lots of laptime and hugs from Nanny.

Hopefully it won't be too long before we visit Nanny again soon!
