Summer, amongst other things (see picture above), has sucked us in, resulting in a neglected blog. But, after many pleas from our few, yet dedicated, visitors who are tired of getting teary eyed each time they visit our blog and see Stanley's picture, we are back! Here's a news flash for those of you who somehow may not have heard yet: As we are overdue on our blog, most of this excuse lies in the fact that we will be "due" to add another little lady to our lives in early January. Needless to say, Jane is excited to be a big sister!
The summer started out with the whole Odom family visiting us for the Pittsburgh Marathon weekend in May. Our team of five (Krista, Jonnett, Frank, Scott and late sub Travis) ran the Marathon Relay on an early Sunday morning as the "Ones that Got Away" in memory of dad. It was a great race and we had great support - as shown in the photo above!
When we haven't had visitors or been traveling (watch for posts soon on both of those topics), Jane has kept us very busy with her 2 1/2 year old imagination. We spend lots of time dancing, dressing up, and and pretending to be a bride (please note that while holding the train, Daddy is also being asked to sing "Here Come the Bride")...we anticipate that this day will be a long, long, long time from now...
