In her fifth week, we are delighted to report that Jane has rewarded us with a few lengthened periods of sleep at night. More often then not, she is sleeping 4 hours at a time; however, this is not to say that there aren't those nights that she is waking up every 2 hours! But, for the most part, Mom and Dad are getting a bit more sleep these days - we'll take it while we can get it! Also, we have started to see some smiles...real ones. And Scott even heard a giggle out of her today. Jane is still eating like a champ (which these pictures indicate), and beneath her adorable chunkiness, she is actually quite strong.
Check out this video showcasing her head control (and receiving kisses from her brother!).
Here, Scott and Jane were dancing, which she finds really calming.
And here is our little snow bunny. I bundled her up and put her in the Baby Bjorn so we could take Stanley for a walk (Scott was on call at the hospital). She liked it so much she fell right asleep, and this is the picture of her when we got home...sound asleep, arms stretched out, nice and warm.
