Yeeeee Ha!! June 27
th marked our 1 year anniversary in Memphis, but the good news is that just a few days later Scott ended his first year of fellowship. So to celebrate,
Jonnett and I packed up the car and headed up to Michigan for some vacation at the lake!
We started by visiting Jimmy and Marilyn in Niles for July 4
th. We spent a bit of time in Niles, but they were also able to join us at Lake Michigan.
Amy,
Jonnett's sister, found us a sweet rental house right on the lake. The week was spent walking on the beach, reading books, putting puzzles together, squirt gun fights, and eating ice cream.

Jacob,
Jaeden, and Cole kept things lively with their seemingly endless amounts of energy. Jacob has quite the arm, and we were able to play many hours of catch and hotbox.
Uncle Frank did great throwing the kids into the wave of the lake. We had some killer games of spoons as well. Perhaps his biggest
contribution were two gigantic zip-lock bags of temporary tattoos. The kids were covered with them from head to toe, and they drew many looks from our fellow tourists. Maybe we shouldn't mention that the adults were covered with tattoos too!

Scott caught up on some much needed sleep, and
Jaeden joined on one day after running around on the beach proved to be a bit taxing.
Jonnett continued gestating the baby girl who is coming along quite nicely. We can now actually see her kicking, so that is pretty exciting. All in all it was a great vacation.
