Jenn visits Memphis!

Jenn deserved a reprieve from the craziness of getting her house ready to sell (Todd, you rock!). Not only is her house on the market, but we also had a great visit in Memphis!

After some good girl time on Friday, that included lots of shopping, we settled in for the evening, cooking dinner (Soft Black Bean Tostadas) and then setting ourselves up for nightmares as we watched "The Hitcher". Ooh, scary!


















On Saturday, we relaxed a bit and then set out on the town to show Jenn a little bit of Memphis (unfortunately, the rain made this trip into a drive-by tour). We drove past Sun Studios, Beale Street, and then, tried to have lunch at the Arcade, famous restaurant where Elvis spent lots of time. It was closed, so we headed on over to Huey's for the Best Burger in Memphis. Probably true, as Scott, who doesn't like burgers actually had two Huey burgers in one week! We finished off our Memphis fun with a quick tour of St. Jude.


















Later on, we met up with Chris and Jill for some good ol' BBQ at the Germantown Commisary where they say the BBQ is so good you'll slap your mama! Ha! It was really tasty, even the BBQ nachos. Mmm mmm!


















We ended the evening of with some Wii - Tennis, Olympic challenge, and Guitar Hero. You gotta love it!
























More shopping on Sunday, and then I was sad to see Jenn leave! Thanks for checking out our house and the lovely town of Memphis. Who will be our next visitor? Any takers?
